• Crow’s feet
  BOTOX®Cosmetic softens the lines around the eyes which some men and women, particularly full-face smilers and long-time sun worshippers, are prone to develop. Dr. Chi has written a thesis and articles published in scientific journals relating to the use of BOTOX® Cosmetic in improving the wrinkle lines around the eyes.
   

• Vertical frown lines
  Vertical lines between the brows can make one look sad, angry or distressed.  These frown lines are the result of  repeated action of the  underlying muscles during habitual  frowning. To stop habitual frowning BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected specifically to those underlying muscles. Once the action of the frowning is prevented and the muscles relax, the frown lines become softer and less obvious. Skin laser resurfacing is often combined with the BOTOX® Cosmetic injection to alleviate the lines and prevent them from returning.
   

• Heavy (droopy) eyebrows
  Droopy eyebrows are part of the aging process which can make you look older than you are or feel. BOTOX® Cosmetic works by weakening the muscles which pull the eyebrows downwards and allows the opposing muscle to pull the eyebrows up. This is a non-surgical method of lifting the eyebrows to their proper position. The effect is temporary, lasting three to six months.
   

• Forehead lines
  Horizontal lines respond well to BOTOX® Cosmetic. These lines are caused by repeated habitual brow lifting.  The BOTOX® Cosmetic is directly injected into the muscle responsible for brow lifting.  Habitual brow lifting is part of the aging process because as your eyebrows and eyelids begin to droop, your mind unconsciously tries to lift the brows back  to their original position in an attempt to enlarge the eyes. In the process of doing so, the repeated action of the muscles creates horizontal lines.

  One of the most common complications of BOTOX® Cosmetic injected into the forehead is causing  the brows to drop even further since the very muscles which lift the brows are weakened.
